Website Design for Therapists

I make therapists look as good online as they are in the room.

Custom websites for therapists in private practice. No templates, no Squarespace, no Wix.

Your site says the right things. It just doesn't feel like you.

Recent Work

Two practices. Two aesthetics. Both built around the practitioner's voice.

01

Built for your practice.

Every design decision starts from how therapy clients actually search for and choose a therapist. The result is built around your voice, your specialties, and the people you want to reach.

02

You can update it yourself.

Every site includes a simple editing dashboard. Change your bio, swap a headshot, or update your fees yourself, without writing code or waiting on me.

03

Fast, findable, and yours.

Your site loads in under a second and ranks on Google from day one. You own all of it, with no platform lock-in or monthly software fees.

Why Design Matters

Your website is the first therapeutic moment.

The therapeutic alliance is the strongest predictor of outcomes,1 and it begins forming before the first session. It starts at your website.

75%

of people judge credibility based on website design alone2

94%

of first impressions on health websites are design-related, not content-related3

50ms

to form an opinion about a website. Visual appeal is the primary driver.4

Your potential clients decide whether they feel safe before they read a single word. That feeling is what I build.

Process

I handle everything. You go at your own pace.

1

Questionnaire

You fill out a short questionnaire about your practice, your ideal client, and the feeling you want your site to evoke.

2

Discovery Call

We have a conversation where we dig into your answers together. This is where your story really comes to life. I learn how you talk about your work, and that's what makes your site sound like you.

3

Build

I design and build your entire site from everything you've shared. I handle the copywriting, or integrate copy you bring yourself. You don't need to make design decisions on the fly or learn any technology.

4

Review

You see the finished site and give feedback. We refine the design and copy together until it feels right.

5

Launch

I handle the domain, deployment, Google Search Console setup, and foundational SEO. Your site is live, fast, and findable.

6

Handoff

I walk you through your editing dashboard. Change your own text, swap photos, update your bio, all without touching code or calling me. If you want ongoing support, we set that up too.

Included

Every site ships complete.

No surprise add-ons, and nothing held back for a later phase.

Custom design tailored to your practice and ideal client

Copywriting crafted from your questionnaire and discovery call

SEO structure: geo-targeted pages, meta descriptions, sitemap, Search Console setup

Pages that load instantly: 100/100 on Google's performance test

Booking integration with your EHR (SimplePractice, Jane App, TherapyNotes, etc.)

A simple editing dashboard that only shows what you need. Update text and images yourself, anytime, without the risk of breaking your layout

Privacy-friendly analytics. See which pages are working and how people find you, without tracking your visitors across the internet

Domain setup, hosting configuration, and deployment

Blog-ready from day one. Write posts with the same clean editor you use for everything else. No plugins, no formatting anxiety

One review round with revisions

Every site I build scores 100/100 on Google's performance test. It loads instantly and ranks higher, so visitors don't leave before they read a word. Most therapist sites score in the 30s.

No templates, no theme limitations, no page-builder backend. Every site is purpose-built for your practice from a blank canvas.

Pricing

Straightforward pricing. No surprises.

Every tier includes custom design, all copywriting, SEO, booking integration, and your editing dashboard.

Other therapist website designers bundle coaching, marketing programs, and 12-month commitments. I don't. You get a website. Period. No programs, no upsells, no monthly coaching calls you didn't ask for.

SEO is one more thing you don't buy separately. The search foundation that helps the right clients find you is built into your site: fast load times and a geo-targeted page for each area you serve. You won't pay a monthly retainer for the technical SEO most firms sell (sitemap submission, structured data, redirects, page-speed work). Ongoing local marketing, if you want it, is your decision to make.

A site that actually shows up on Google and makes the right first impression can bring in two extra clients a month. That pays for itself within weeks, and then it just keeps working.

Solo Practitioner

$3,500–$4,500

5–10 pages · 2–3 weeks

Straightforward private practice with core specialties.

Established Practice

$4,500–$6,000

10–20 pages · 3–4 weeks

Multiple specialties, geo-targeted landing pages, blog-ready architecture.

Group Practice

$6,000–$8,000+

20+ pages · Scoped after discovery

Multiple clinicians, team bios, complex service matrix.

After Year One

Your site grows with your practice.

Your editing dashboard is always free. Day-to-day changes (update text, swap photos, adjust your bio) are yours to make anytime, without a call to me. First year of hosting is included in every build.

Hosting

$50/month or $500/year

Fast, reliable hosting. Domain, security, and deployment managed for you.

Structural Changes

Flat-fee, quoted before any work begins

New pages, layout redesigns, new features. No hourly billing, no surprises.

Most clients handle day-to-day updates themselves and reach out a few times a year for bigger changes.

About

Evan, designer and developer

I'm Evan.

Designer and technologist. I build websites exclusively for therapists in private practice.

My partner is a therapist, my sister is a therapist, and I've benefitted from therapy in my own life. So when I started building websites for therapists, I already understood the world I was designing for. I knew what clients feel when they go looking for help, and what a practice has to show them before they'll book a first session.

Every site I build is custom-coded. Not a template with your name swapped in. Not a WordPress theme with a fresh coat of paint. Built from scratch for your practice and the people you want to reach.

My process is designed to take as little of your time as possible. You share your story and I build the site. You review it once. We're live.
